PURPOSE:To attain identification of the hitherto write information despite the generation of an unexpected state, by writing the specific data on the next writing area when the writing of information is through with each writing unit in case the information is successively written on an information recorder. CONSTITUTION:When writing is over, the end of the writing action is reported to an execution control part 5 with an action end signal 21. The part 5 transfers the contents of a store area 9 for indication data on the next area to a write information storing area 10. The contents of an area address register 8 are renewed, and the information on these contents is transmitted to a medium access part 12. The part 12 writes the transmitted next area indication data to the next writing area 22. The contents of the area 9 are set by an information processor 2 via an action signal 14 and a data signal 15 in an initialization mode of an information recording medium device 1. In case the written information must be identified owing to the generation of an unexpected state, the processor 2 gives an indication to the device 1 to read out the information and searches the area indication data for identification of the written information. |
