PURPOSE:To speed up measuring operation and to stabilize measured force by moving a spindle back by a motor and also providing a constant pressure device in a power transmission path through which the rotation of the motor is transmitted to the spindle. CONSTITUTION:When a toggle switch 20 is operated, the forward rotation of the power shaft 35 of a DC geared motor 32 is transmitted to the spindle 12 through the constant pressure device 36 and a power transmission mechanism 37, and consequently the spindle 12 is moved forth toward an anvil 5. When a body to be measured is clamped between the anvil 5 and spindle 12 through the forward movement of the spindle 12, measured pressure applied to the spindle 12 rises. At this time, when the measured pressure applied to the spindle 12 exceeds a specific value, a friction spring 44 provided to the outer periphery of a rotating body 43 idles around the drum 43 of the constant pressure device 36, so the measured pressure applied to the spindle 12 is held constant. |
