PURPOSE:To prepare stably for a long time polycarbonate resin granular material that is suitably porous and small in granular particle diameter distribution range by cutting and crushing under a wet condition between a lattice and rotary edges polycarbonate resin granular material with a wet crusher having a lattice and rotary edges. CONSTITUTION:The wet crushed material of circulating polycarbonate resin granular substance and the solid polycarbonate resin produced from methylene chloride solution of supplied polycarbonate resin are combined into polycarbonate resin granular substance in the granulation tank 1 and the granular substance is extracted in the aqueous form slurry containing it continuously from the duct 6. At least a portion of the aqueous slurry extracted from the duct 6 is crushed wetly with the wet crusher 7 to be circulated into the granulation tank 1. The wet crusher 7 has a lattice and rotary edges to cut and crush polycarbonate resin granular substance between the lattice and rotary edges and the polycarbonate resin granular substance in the aqueous slurry in the opening part of the lattice is treated at the rate of 0.05-10kg/min.cm<2>.
