LAMINATED TYPE HEAT EXCHANGER

PURPOSE:To prevent the available heat exchange area of the heat exchanger from being lost due to headers by using a tubular material for headers, and positioning the headers at the air inlet side or the air outlet side within the air flowing region of the heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:An inlet header 3 and an outlet header 4 are disposed in parallel at the air outlet side of the group of tube elements 1 and 1 and are bonded integrally to heat exchanger medium outlet and inlet 6 and 8 in a communicative state. Communicative holes 3a and 4a are formed at the peripheral walls of the headers 3 and 4. Within the headers 3 and 4 are provided partitioning plates 8 and 9 to change the flow direction of the heat exchanger medium in every predetermined number of tube elements to cause the medium to flow in zigzag shape. Accordingly, the heat exchange medium passage group is divided into three passages to constitute a so-called three-pass system heat exchanger.
