PURPOSE:To form stable image of no density variation by removing and recovering a developer, which is stuck to the peripheral surface of a developer layer forming member, by a developer removing means. CONSTITUTION:When a developing roll 35 is rotated in the direction of an arrow A, a developer T is led to the nip part between the roll 35 and a developer layer forming member 42 and is sheared by the friction or the like which is generated by the rotation in the direction of the arrow A of the roll 35 and the rotation in the direction of an arrow C of the member 42 and is triboelectrified uniformly. This triboelectrified developer T is carried while forming a uniform thin layer on the roll 35; and when the developer T faces a photosensitive body 2 close, the developer T is flown from the roll 35 toward the photosensitive body 2 by the charge of a latent image on the photosensitive body 2 and a developing bias, and the latent image on the photosensitive body 2 is developed. The developer T which is not flown to the photosensitive body 2 and is left stuck onto the roll 35 is carried in accordance with the rotation of the roll 35 and is recovered in a casing 34 for a developing device by a recovering blade 46. The developer T stuck to the peripheral surface of the member 42 is carried in accordance with the rotation of the member 42 and is scraped by a cleaning blade 44 to clean the member 42. |
