PURPOSE:To provide a titled lens which has a high refractive index, is easily moldable, decreases coloration and has improved durability and impact resistance by forming a film consisting essentially of specific components on the surface of the synthetic resin lens obtd. by copolymerizing monomers consisting essentially of prescribed components. CONSTITUTION:One or more kinds of the monomers A expressed by the formula I (R<1>, R<2>: -OCH2CH2-, etc., R<3>: -O-, etc., X: halogen except F, a, b, l, m: integer) are used by dissolving the same in a soln. mixture composed of >=1 kind of the monomers B selected from the formula II and >=2 kinds of the monomer C components expressed by the formula III (R<4>: -OCH2CH2-, etc., n: integer). The comonomers consisting essentially of the A-C are copolymerized to obtain the lens. The compsn. ratios of the A-C are determined from the balance with the desired refractive index, coloration, film durability, impact resistance, etc. of the lens. Here, the content of the component A is preferably 25-80wt%. D is the film consisting of >=1 kind of the monomers expressed by the formula IV (R<5>- R<7>: hydrocarbon group, c, d: 0, 1, 2), the component E is the film consisting of colloidal silica and F is the film consisting of polyhydric alcohol, etc. These films are formed on the above-mentioned lens. |
