<p>Portable air conditioner comprising, in a box 1 in the form of a case, a compression refrigerating device 2, in which there are arranged in particular an evaporator 4, a compressor 8 and means 14 which are interposed in the branch 9 of the closed circuit 3 for the refrigerating fluid and arranged to reduce the speed of the latter below the speed at which it can give rise to droplets of fluid and to cause an expansion of the fluid, in the liquid phase, in order to avoid any rush of liquid into the compressor 8 when the apparatus is used with fluid in the liquid phase in the evaporator. <IMAGE></p> |
