PURPOSE:To simplify the structure and to improve the reliability by forming incorporatedly a feeder line, an impedance converting section and a helical element in a single wire type helical antenna with a continuous flexible metallic foil or printed board. CONSTITUTION:The signal wire type helical antenna is provided with the feeder line 2, the impedance converting section 3 and the helical element section 4. A strip line feeder line is used as the feeder line 2. Further, an impedance converting section 3 is provided to the strip line and the end of the strip line is used as the element 4. Then the antenna is formed unifiedly with the metallic foil or printed board where the part from the feeder line to the antenna element has continuous flexibility. As a result, number of components is reduced remarkably and the structure is simplified. Moreover, the reliability is improved because the number of components and of connecting points are decreased. |
