PURPOSE:To obtain a highly reliable rotation detector, by making magnetic poles cross a magnetic detection body to generate a pulse. CONSTITUTION:As a rotor 3 mounted on a rotating shaft 1 rotates with the rotation of the rotating shaft 1, magnetic poles composing a plurality of magnetic pole trains 2a-2c on the circumference thereof crosses the magnetic detection body 5 sequentially. As a result, since the magnetic poles in the plurality of magnetic pole trans 2a-2c and the magnetic detection body 6 are arranged close to each other, the magnetic pole varies from N, S and N in the polarity with the rotation thereof to generate a pulse of the same direction. Thus, a pulse is generated in magnetic detection body 6 to obtain a highly reliable rotation detector. |
