发明名称 INDUCTION HEATING METHOD OF METALLIC MATERIAL
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To supply the uniform heat energy by induced electric power over the entire part of a metallic material such as mill, roll and to heat said material to a uniform temp. by using an induction coil for heating having a central tap in the stage of heating the metallic material by induced current. CONSTITUTION:The metallic material 1 such as mill, roll is heated by the induction heating coil 2 disposed to face said material. The coil 2 is constituted by connecting the secondary coils of transformers Ta, Tb, Tc. The primary coils of the transformers are respectively connected to variable AC power sources A, B, C. The coil 2 slightly longer than the part of the material 1 where the body part 3 is longest is used. The intermediate taps t2, t3 of the coil 2 are positioned on the side slightly inner than the shortest body width 5-6 of the taper 4 of the part 3 and are connected to the secondary coils of the transformers A and B, and B and C. Electricity is conducted to the coil in such a state and the electric power density of the power sources A, C is made larger than B in such a manner that the induced heat energy between the taps t1 and t2 and of t3 and t4 is made larger than the induced heat energy between t2 and t3. The material 1 is thus uniformly inductively heated.</p>
