PURPOSE:To provide the titled apparatus capable of inactivating the lipid oxidase, etc. in oil seeds without giving undesirable effect to proteins, and constructed to feed the oil seeds from the seed hopper through the lower end of a buffer-solution supply pipe to the delivery opening end by the aid of a spiral blade, a stirring blade and a pressure cylinder furnished with a spiral blade. CONSTITUTION:Oil seeds, especially raw soybean divided into two, are supplied from the hopper 1 to the pressure cylinder 2 furnished with a pressure cylinder jacket 3. The beans are transferred through the cylinder 2 to the lower end of the buffer-solution supply pipe 5 by the aid of the spiral blade 7 rotating with the rotary shaft 6, and buffer solution is supplied to the beans. Thereafter, the beans are transferred under agitation with a stirring blade composed of plural fan-shaped protrusions 8 attached to the shaft spirally with regular intervals, and with a rotary screw member furnished with a spiral blade 9. The transferred beans having inactivated enzymatic activity is discharged from the apparatus through the outlet pipe 10. |
