PURPOSE:To permit the desirable feed of an original by the simple constitution by vertically moving a positioning member urged upwardly by a projection, interlocked with the opening and closing operation of an automatic original feeding apparatus. CONSTITUTION:When an automatic original feeding apparatus 1 is put into closed state, a projection 14 installed onto a cover 9 pushes a positioning member 10, and the contact part 10b retreats below the surface of a pleten glass 3. Therefore, the transport of an original is not obstructed, and the original can be transported desirably. While, with the automatic original feeding apparatus 1 in the opened state, the positioning member 10 is urged upwardly, and the contact part 10b projects over the surface of the platen glass 3. Therefore, an operator can correctly load the original (a) in the contact state to the side edge part 10b at a prescribed position. |
