PURPOSE:To obtain a sheet for ink jet having excellent ink drying characteristics as well as the high quality of a picture and superior dimensional stability by using a surface sheet consisting of a fine porous hydrophilic polymer. CONSTITUTION:A surface sheet 1 in a sheet structure (a) is composed of a continuous fine porous hydrophilic polymer sheet, and ink jet recording paper as well as plain paper and coated paper can be employed as a recording sheet 2. When a pattern is recorded onto the structure sheet (a) for preparing the copying article by an ink jet printer, the droplets of flying aqueous ink form a picture on the fine porous sheet 1 while reaching to the surface of the recording sheet 2 through continuous voids in the sheet, thus obtaining the same copying article as the surface sheet 1. The sheet displays extremely excellent ink drying characteristics, and the picture is also improved. |
