PURPOSE:To simplify a rotary machine structure by providing a middle tap at the middle point with a stator connected double, and connecting a converter between the tap and an external terminal, and connecting a rotor with a power source. CONSTITUTION:Middle taps aq, aq', bq, bq', cq, cq' are formed at the middle points of a double connection stator armature winding 14 connected in parallel in one phase, frequency converters 8, 9 are connected electrically between the external terminals ap, bp, cp of different armature windings from the taps aq...cq' and intermediate tap terminals aq...cq', while a slip ring is connected with a rotor winding to communicate power between the rotary electric machine and an external connector, and a combination of star-delta connection is connected as shown by ABCO of the drawing in the rotor winding connection. |
