PURPOSE:To increase storage characteristics under high temperature and high humidity by forming a lithium battery with a positive electrode, a negative electrode comprising a lithium alloy containing at least one of Bi, Ag, and Sn. CONSTITUTION:A lithium primary battery is formed with a positive mix 2 using manganese dioxide as active material, an electrolyte prepared by dissolving lithium perchlorate in a mixed solvent of propylene carbonate and 1,2-dimethoxyethane, and a negative electrode 4 comprising a lithium alloy prepared by adding 10% or less of at least one of Bi, Ag, and Sn to lithium. By adding Bi, Ag, or Sn,the interface of lithium with organic electrolyte is protected and formation of an insulating film caused by reaction of lithium with moisture on the interface of lithium and electrolyte is prevented even when moisture penetrates. Therefore, storage characteristics under high temperature and high humidity are improved. |
