PURPOSE:To improve the operation efficiency of the joining of H-shaped steel by positioning holes in both flanks of a flange through the arithmetic operation of a microcomputer frame. CONSTITUTION:When the abutting member 19 of the moving part 18 of the wave height detecting device 17 abuts on the reverse flat surface of the wave 2b of H-shaped steel 2, the extent of movement is transmitted to a rotary encoder 25 through a rack 20 and a pinion 24 to detect the measured distance. On the other hand, data on boring pitch and wave thickness are inputted to the microcomputer frame 28 with the key switch on the console panel of a boring tool. When the key switch on the console panel is turned on and automatic operation is started, thereby calculating the position of a hole from the measured distance, boring pitch, and wave thickness. |
