PURPOSE:To obtain a disk-shaped optical recording medium which permits quick program searching of recording information by forming parallel plural pieces of spiral-shaped tracks to a disk-shaped medium. CONSTITUTION:The disk-shaped medium 1 is provided and the surface of the medium 1 is formed as a recording region 2. The spiral tracks 3 are formed in the region 2 and plural pieces of the tracks 3 are arranged in parallel. The starting points 4 of the respective tracks are therefore located in the same position. The recording information independent from said points 4, for example, musics are recorded in the respective tracks 3 in such a constitution. Such recording information is long and continuous and is continuously recorded on a piece of the track 3 and therefore the program searching is executed simply by selecting the tracks in the position of the points 4 of the tracks 3. The time for the program searching is thereby considerably reduced and the movement of the head is decreased. The waiting time for the information is thus reduced. |
