PURPOSE:To connect lines easily and accurately by a method wherein at the moment of mounting a printing unit, a base plate and a guide portion are connected and pressed by a rubbery elastic material, so that the terminal electrodes of both print lines are overlapped on each other. CONSTITUTION:Being interlocked with mounting action, the terminal of a each print line 18, 11 is aligned in position easily and accurately by a base plate 10 fixed to a carriage and a guide portion 12 mounted on a printing unit, and conforming to the width of the base plate, corresponding electrodes can be overlapped on each other easily and accurately. As the overlapped portion of both print lines 8, 11 is pressed by a rubbery elastic mateial 14 being interclocked with the mounting action, all electrodes is capable of having a uniform and a positive contact. |
