PURPOSE:To detect the position of a body in a measurement objective space by providing plural infrared detection parts and constituting an infrared sensor array, and specifying and setting dedicated space areas corresponding to the infrared detection parts. CONSTITUTION:The infrared sensor 1 which has infrared detection parts 4 at specific intervals 3a is provided with partition surfaces F at positions corresponding to adjacent spaces at sides X, Y, and Z of the body to be detected. A heat absorbing layer is formed on each partition surface R and a space area B wherein the objective body is detected are specified and set for the infrared detection parts 4.... For example, when the objective body is at a position X, output signals appears at channels of the 4th and the 5th infrared detection parts 4 from the upper left in a figure. Then, it is found that the objective body is present at the overlap part of both space areas A and B. The body even when at positions Y and Z is detected similarly. |
