PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution and to improve a processing speed by rotating the phase of a reception signal space by a prescribed angle at the end of training procedure end to simplify the decision of a training period and a data transfer period succeeding thereto. CONSTITUTION:A reception signal from an input terminal 1 is separated into an in-phase component I and an orthogonal component Q by a carrier reproducing section 2 of a demodulator, and the I and Q are inputted to an equalizer 5 via LPF3, 4 respectively. The equalizer 5 applies line characteristic and the equalized reception signal is inputted to a discrimination section 7 via a phase shifter 6. The discriminating section 7 discriminates a code estimate value by using a reference signal from a reference signal generating section 8. The estimated code 13 is decoded into a binary-bit string by a decoder 9 and outputted from a descrambler 10. Further, an error signal output 14 of the discriminating section 7 is fed to the equalizer 5 by a tap coefficient adjusting section as correction of a tap coefficient and the training period is detected by a training end detection section 16. Then the decision of the training period and data transfer period is simplified. |
