PURPOSE:To contrive enhancement of sublimability, thermal stability, color reproduction properties and preservability, by using a specified indophenol coloring matter. CONSTITUTION:A coloring matter of formula I is used. In the formula, X is hydrogen, methyl, formly, acetylamino or propionylamino, Y is hydrogen, methoxy or ethoxy, each of R and R<1> is hydrogen or 1-8C subst. or unsubst. alkyl, and R<2> is hydrogen or methyl. The coloring matter is cyan in color, enables full- color recording with favorable color reproduction properties when being used in combination with a magenta color and a yellow color, is easily sublimable, and enables to record at high speed with favoable preservability. |
