PURPOSE:To obtain the optimum ignition time by carrying out sampling more than several ten times as the explosion frequencies of an engine and carrying out feedback of explosion frequencies so that the frequency of generation of knocking can be suppressed within several %. CONSTITUTION:An ignition advance calculating circuit 5 is connected with a standard angle detector 1, angular clock detector 2, intake pressure detector 3, and a knocking detector 4, and ignition time is determined according to the engine state. Knocking detecting circuits 5-9 generate the output in several stages according to the intensity of knocking. Corrected advance calculating circuits 5-10 calculate knocking rates each of which is different in the fixed combustion cycle and prescribed for each output in several stages from knocking detecting circuits 5-9. When each output in these several stages is over the rate prescribed for each output, ignition time is delayed by a fixed angle, and when each output in these several stages is less than the prescribed rate, ignition time is advanced. |
