PURPOSE:To effectively hold a superconductive field coil in a simple structure without using a retaining ring by disposing a retainer over the arc portion and the corner of the coil on a supporting member to secured to a coil mounting shaft. CONSTITUTION:A supporting member 23 is disposed adjacent to the corner of a superconductive field coil 3 in a stepped slot 18, and secured by a bolt 24 to a coil mounting shaft 2. Then, a retainer 25 is disposed over the arc portion and the corner of the coil 3 on the member 23, and secured to the member 23 by a bolt 26 to rigidly hold the arc portion 32 and the corner 33 of the coil 3. Thus, since the member 23 and the retainer 25 are not moved, it can prevent the coil 3 from moving during operation. |
