PURPOSE:To cut cost and obtain the vibration absorbing effect corresponding to the vibration characteristic by constituting a vibration absorbing roll by arranging an elastic member in the direction of the axis center in the roll body in free revolution and permitting the elastic supporting force to be adjusted and supporting a damper weight. CONSTITUTION:Inside a roll body 10, a wire 13 made of elastic material is installed inserting the supporting shaft parts at the both edges and the center of the trumpet-shaped both guides 12, and a damper weight 14 is supported at the center part. The both edges of the wire 13 are engaged outside the both shaft parts 11, and a tension is increased and decreased by adjusting a nut screwed onto a sleeve fixed on one edge side, and the springy supporting force of the damper weight 14 is adjusted. The both shaft parts 11 of a vibration absorbing roll 17 thus constituted are supported by a bearing 18 and a spring 19, and springily press-fitted onto a strip 1. Therefore, production cost and running cost can be reduced, and the vibration absorbing action corresponding to the vibration characteristic of the strip 1 can be obtained. |
