<p>PURPOSE:To heighten the storing ability of an article keeping apparatus having circular racks horizontally disposed in which a plurality of article storing receptacles are turned along circular moving paths by drawing out the receptacles at right angles with the moving paths to be received on a receiving table fitted to the racks. CONSTITUTION:The above article keeping apparatus includes oval circular racks 3 vertically disposed in plural stages and a plurality of support members 5 movably placed along rail members 6, 7 mounted along the inner and outer peripheral edges of the respective racks 3. The support members 5 are moved by turning a chain (not shown) wrapped round a sprocket wheel 11. Article storing receptacles 4 are slidably placed on the support members 5 in such a manner that the respective receptacles 4 can be freely drawn out to the outside orthogonally to the moving paths. Receiving tables 2 for supporting the drawn-out receptacles 4 are provided for each stage on one side of the racks 3, and the receiving tables 2 are provided with transfer devices 19 for putting in and out the receptacles 4 between the receiving tables 2 and the support members 5.</p> |
