<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to reutilize a drawn optical fiber cable by setting the angle, which is formed between a messanger wire which pulls the optical fiber cable and the stringing direction of an overhead earth wire, to a value within such range that a flexural lateral pressure exceeding an allowable value is not applied to the optical fiber cable. CONSTITUTION:The end part of an optical fiber cable 2 is taken out from the inside of an overhead earth wire 1 clamped on an iron tower 8 by an anchor metallic tool 11, and one end of a messanger wire 5 is connected to it through a connecting metallic tool 12, and the other end part is clipped by a caterpillar drawing device 6 to draw out the optical fiber cable 2. In this case, an angle alpha formed between the stringing direction of the overhead earth wire 1 and the messanger wire 5 is set to a considerably small value by arranging the caterpillar drawing device 6 apart from the iron rower 8. Since the angle alpha is very small, the angle of direction conversion of drawing is made smaller as the whole when the optical fiber cable 2 is guided by guide rolls. Thus, application of an excessive flexural lateral pressure is prevented.</p> |
