PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform measurement by a simple apparatus, by providing a lid body, which covers the opening end of a vacant chamber in the main body of a cask, providing engaging tools, which are freely engaged and disengaged to and from the trunnion of the main body of the cask, and supplying a compressing liquid into the vacant chamber in the main body of the cask via a through hole provided in the lid body. CONSTITUTION:A lid body 18 is applied to the opening end of a vacant chamber 12 of a main body 11 of a cask, which is laterally supported on a mounting board 14. Engaging metal tools 19 are engaged with a trunnion 13. Bolts and nuts, which link first and second engaging parts 19a and 19b are adjusted. The lid body 18 is compressed to the main body 11 of the cask by a main body 20 of a beam. A supporting body 21 is attached by using a crane 36. Then, stop valves 29, 30 and 31 of a compressed air feeder 23 are opened and a regulator 28 is adjusted. Compressed air is fed into the vacant chamber 12 at a specified pressure. Thus a specified load is applied to the trunnion 13 through the lid body 18 and the supporting body 21. |
