PURPOSE:To use a card to perform transactions simultaneously with opening of an account by issuing the card then and there when the account is opened by an ATM. CONSTITUTION:The ATM is provided with a bank not discharging machine 27 which discharges bank notes to be paid, a bill checker 28 which decides whether a received bank note is true or false and reads the denomination, a slip issuing machine 29 which issues a slip where transaction contents are printed, a card reader 30 which reads magnetic stripe information on an inserted card, a bankbook printing machine 31 which prints transaction data on a bankbook, a key input device 32, a display device 33, and a card issuing machine 34 which issues the card at the account opening time, as input/output devices. The ATM is controlled by a master-slave system and is provided with one master CPU20 and plural slave CPUs 21-26. A center is provided with an account file where customer data of customer's names, addresses, password numbers, and deposits are stored and registered for individual account numbers. |
