PURPOSE:To make each suction system smaller in size as well as to aim at compactification in an engine as a whole, by setting up each of these suction system pertaining to both front and rear cylinders in a V-type engine in a way of completely separating them in the upper part and the rear ward of an engine body, respectively. CONSTITUTION:Both front and rear cylinders 5 and 6 in a V-type engine both are constituted so as to take in air from the rear and exhaust the gas frontward. Therefore, each of exhaust pipes 7 and 9 of these cylinders 5 and 6 are extendedly installed from the front to the rear. And, a suction system 10 of the front cylinder 5 is set up in the upper part of these cylinders 5 and 6, and another suction system 11 of the rear cylinder 6 is set up in the rear of the rear cylinder 6. And, in the front suction system 10, a downdraft type front caburetor 12 is set up just above a V-type space of both these cylinders 5 and 6, and in the rear suction system 11, a sidedraft type rear carburetor 4 is set up in the rear of the rear cylinder 6. With this constitution, each of these suction systems 10 and 11 is made so compact in size, thus the expected aim comes to fruition. |
