The invention relates to a blind which can be moved up and down by means of a spring which supports a shaft, by which a number of rails can be wound up. The rails are coupled to one another and can be drawn apart from one another vertically and they are provided with slots for the passage of light and air. The blind is provided with a device for pushing the rails apart and together in order to open and close the slots.
