PURPOSE:To deliver a horizontally or vertically directed article vertically or horizontally or even obliquely by connecting a rotary arm and a fixed shaft to each other by means of a pair of mutually different bevel gears. CONSTITUTION:In an article conveyor device adapted to convey an article while turning it, a supporter 4 having a vertical cylinder 5 or a gripper pawl 9 arranged thereon is horizontally moved on a machine base 1 by the operation of a horizontal cylinder 2 upon conveying said article in the preceeding process to the next process. In addition, a movable body 7 having a rotary arm 8 and the pawl 9 provided thereon is vertically elevated/lowered by the operation of the cylinder 5. Then, a rotary cylinder 14 is fitted to a fixed shaft 12, and a pair of the arm 8 are supported on a rotary box 21 fixedly mounted on the rotary cylinder 14. Bevel gears 23 are respectively fixed on spline parts 22 provided on the internal ends of the arm 8. With such arrangement, a horizontally or vertically directed article can be delivered vertically or horizontally or even obliquely. |
