The SolAir collector installation for warm- and hot-air production is intended, as a large-area installation, for decorating any type of roof and, as a usable solar energy source, for supplying large quantities of warm or hot fresh air for every possible need in all temperature ranges over the entire year. Only large-area SolAir collector installations ensure high usable kW output. Only high thermal outputs, measured in kW, allow economic industrial and also economic private usage for warm-water production, fresh-air heating, drying installations, drinking-water production and much more besides. Solution: Stainless punched spacers 10 are fastened to the roof batten by simply bending over the retaining straps 15 and nailed 14. At the retaining straps angled off on both sides, they receive in a notching 11 the abutting aluminium troughs 7 and support the acrylic glass 1 or polycarbonate troughs lying on top, whereby the upward-leading retaining straps 15 in each case fit snugly around and are secured to the left or right inwardly inclined side 3 of the touching acrylic-glass troughs 1. A U-shaped clamping strip 17 made of special steel seals off the connection in rainproof fashion by simply bending over the retaining straps 15. Thus, in an extremely simple way, a large-area SolAir collector installation can be mounted as a roof skin, accessory parts such as air-guiding sheet-metal channel 24, verge flashing 18 and slip-on part 6 closing off the edge zones.
