A dispenser for dispensing an extrudable material from a collapsible tube (2), comprising a casing (1) adapted to retain the collapsible tube, a piston (3) having a slot (3e) capable of receiving the closed end (2d) of the tube when the tube is within the casing, the piston and the casing having co-operating non-return means (3i, 1c) thereon which permit longitudinal movement of the piston only towards the dispensing end (2a) of the tube, tube urging means (6) to urge the collapsible tube in a longitudinal direction away from the dispensing end of the casing and to urge the closed end of the tube through the slot, tube returning means (7) to urge the tube to return toward the dispensing end of the casing when the pressure applied to the tube urging means is released. |
