PURPOSE:To obviate the necessity of diaphragm carrying-in work for the installation of a diaphragm by previously installing diaphragm members divided in the vertical and circumferential directions onto a side member forming an outer tank. CONSTITUTION:A diaphragm member 12 is previously fitted onto a side-plate member 11 forming the side surface of an outer tank 3 by a fitting tool 13. The diaphragm member 12 is divided into plural parts in the vertical and circumferential directions, and formed in coincidence with the divided shape of the side member 11. Then, the joint parts 16 in the vertical and circumferential directions of the side-plate member 11 are welded in succession to construct the outer tank 3. After the construction of the outer tank 3, the diaphragm members 12 arranged in the vertical direction on the side surface of the outer tank 3 are joined by intermediate joint members 17, and connected to a supporting beam 18. |
