PURPOSE:To facilitate management of a river-bed, by a method wherein high pressure water is injected by means of a water injection multi-throw pipe ring incorporating a heavy cylinder type pump, a spad made of steel, which is moved forward against reaction, is functioned to move sediment accumulated on a water bottom. CONSTITUTION:A self-propelling ship is provided with a water injection multi-throw pipe ring 1 having nozzle pipes 15, a motor-driven shaft 2 which elevates the ring 1, and a spad 3 made of steel which has function to move forward against water injection reaction. A special steel pipe 19 with a thick thickness wall, extended through both sides of a ship, and a bent pipe 20 are coupled to the ring 1, and the ring is adapted to be rotatable through bearing, and an axial flow pump is placed in the steel pipe 19. The spad 3 is nipped by driving shafts 31 and 32, is adapted to be rotatable in a 60 deg. arc from horizontality toward both an upward and a downward direction, and prevents reverse movement and causes forward movement of a ship. a ship is moved in a position by self-propelling system, water in an intake tank 5 is injected at a high speed through the spad 3 to move accumulated sediment. |
