摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain laser beams having little thermal lens action and high quality stably by mounting an optical system for enlarging the diameter of laser beams extracted from a beam extracting mirror in an oscillator box body. CONSTITUTION:A laser exciting substance 2 is housed in a box body 1, a concave mirror 3 and a convex mirror 4 are fitted to both end sections of the substance 2, laser beams are reciprocated in the exciting substance 2, and reflected by a beam extracting mirror 5 arranged between the exciting substance 2 and the convex mirror 4, and reflected beams 6 are projected to the outside from a beam extracting window 7. In the constitution, an optical system for enlarging the diameter of beams is disposed positioned in the same box body 1 between the extracting mirror 5 and the extracting window 7. That is, mutually facing first plane mirror 8 and convex mirror 9 are arranged onto the extracting mirror 5, and the external end section of the plane mirror 8 is surrounded by a concave mirror 10 and a second plane mirror 11 is fitted slantingly to the convex mirror 9. Accordingly, beams 6 are reflected among the mirrors 8-11, and obtained expanded beams are directed toward the beam extracting window 7, and projected to the outside from the window 7.
