PURPOSE:To make the charging operations of papers much easier by moving a paper presser plate for charging papers in an interlocking manner with a cam. CONSTITUTION:When a lever 22 is turned almost 90 deg. to the hither side, or in the direction of A, a cam 18 with a shaft 20 is also turned almost 90 deg. in the direction of A, and the cam 18 comes to a position as shown by a two-point chain line. A paper presser plate 8 is pushed and moved to the direction of B by the cam 18. Since the plate 8 is supported at its center 10 on the cut port 16 of a back plate 4, when the upper part 12 of the plate 8 is pushed and moved to the direction of B by the cam 18, the lower part 14 of the plate 8 is moved to the direction of C around the center 10 a strut by overcoming the force of a spring 16. When the lever 22 is pulled down 90 deg. to the this side, the plate 8 is positioned at a position as shown by the two-dotted chain line, and an aperture is formed between a paper feeding roller 17 and the plate 8, permitting the bundle 24 of papers to be loaded. |
