PURPOSE:To easily reduce the cost of an automatic paper supplyier by eliminating the needs for synchronizing paper supplying rollers and paper discharging rollers by switching a single motor to paper-supplying action or to paper-discharging action. CONSTITUTION:When a motor 6 is turned toward the direction of A, a first paper supplying pulley 22 and a paper supplying roller shaft 20 are normally turned to the direction of E, and a paper supplying roller 18 is also normally turned in the direction of E. When the uppermost paper of a paper bundle 40 is removed from a separating claw 46 and its tip comes into contact with the contact point between a paper feeding roller 50 and a second pinch roller 54, the driving of the motor 6 is stopped, and the roller 50 is driven by a drive source not illustrated. The paper is then fed to a paper discharge port 56 while being printed by a printer 4. When the rear end of a paper 48 comes to the contact point between the roller 50 and a first pinch roller 52, the roller 50 is stopped. Whereupon, the motor 6 is inversely turned and starts to move to the direction of B, and the paper discharge roller 10 is turned in the direction of H, as shown in the Fig. In this case, a roller 10 is contacted with the paper 48, and the paper 48 is discharged from the printer 4. |
