<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of a generator apparatus by supplying the secondary winding output of a main wound-rotor type induction machine through a frequency converter to AC bus and the secondary winding of an induction motor for driving a synchronous generator. CONSTITUTION:The secondary winding output terminal 15 of a main wound- rotor type induction machine 2 is connected through a frequency converter 14 with the terminal 16 of the primary winding, which is connected with an AC bus 3. On the other hand, the primary winding of an induction motor 7 is connected with the bus 3, and connected through a capacitor 18 and a power inverter 8 with the terminal 16 of the secondary winding of the machine 2. An AC exciting current is supplied from a synchronous generator 8 driven by the motor 7 to the machine 2. The rotor of the machine 2 is rotatably driven by a prime mover 1 earlier than the revolving magnetic field in the same direction as the rotating direction of the revolving magnetic field of the machine 2.</p> |
