PURPOSE:To provide a flux for brazing Al and Al alloy material consisting of substance is obtd. by crushing the mixture consisting of K3AlF6, AlF3 and PbF2 having the prescribed weight ratio or the melted and solidified substance of the mixture. CONSTITUTION:A flux for brazing Al and Al alloy material is formed of substance obtd. by crushing the mixture consisting of 60-70% K3AlF6, 27-37% AlF3 and 0.1-10% PbF2 (each wt%) or the melted and solidified substance of the mixture, actually. Accordingly the operating temp. is lower and braze is better than the conventional fluoride flux and a good joining part equivalent to the brazing method in fluxless inert gas atmosphere and the soldering method in furnace of chloride flux is obtainable, and yet a fluoride flux having insolubleness and nonhygroscopicity is obtd. |
