BELT TYPE GRINDER FOR ROLLING ROLL

PURPOSE:To provide a titled grinder which moves smoothly a grinding machine by cleaning the outside surfaces of guide members of the device which grinds the outside circumferential surface of a rolling roll by sliding contact of a grinding belt by injection nozzles or rotary abrasive cleaning devices for spraying fluide provided thereto. CONSTITUTION:The device body 2 which grinds the outside circumferential surface of the rolling roll 1 by the sliding contact of the grinding belt 3 is guided and moved in the axial direction of the roll by the guide members 6 of the rolling mill. The outside surfaces of the members 6 are cleaned by the fluid injected from the fluid injection nozzles 9a disposed to a frame 11 and the annular injection nozzles 9b provided to the body 2 so that the grainding machine 2 travels smoothly. Brushes with rotary vanes 15 may be provided around the shafts 6 of the body 2 and the shafts 6 may be abrasively cleaned by the injection from the nozzles 9c and the swiveling of the rotary brushes.
