PRODUCTION OF HYPERFINE PARTICLES

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily produce homogeneous hyperfine particles of a metal or its compd. having small particle diameter and narrow particle diameter distribution by a simple operation by a dry method. SOLUTION: Stock for forming hyperfine particles is evaporated and satd. by heating to the m.p. or above in inert gas under atmospheric pressure or reduced pressure and a gaseous refrigerant is brought into contact with the resultant vapor-contg. gas. By this contact, the vapor is solidified by forced cooling while suppressing the formation of clustery or cloudy particles to produce the objective homogeneous hyperfine particles having several nm particle diameter or below.
