PURPOSE:The titled mycelial mass, obtained by incorporating an inorganic and/ or organic germanium in a bean component, adjusting pH, and cultivating basidiomycetes in the resultant culture medium, containing germanium compound concentrated in living bodies, and having rich drug effect, e.g. carcinostatic action. CONSTITUTION:A mycelial mass of basiodimycetes obtained by incorporating (C) an inorganic and/or organic germanium in an amount of preferably 50- 100ppm in (A) a bean component of bean broth, strained less of soybean milk or defatted soybean and (B) preferably crushed grains of seed shell, e.g. walnut shell, adjusting the pH to weakly acidic (2.8-4.5pH), cultivating basidiomycetes, e.g. fungi of Ganoderma lucidum Karst., in the resultant culture medium or growing further after the cultivation. |
