Mobile unit for producing and installing large-format elements for housing construction

The invention relates to a mobile unit for producing and assembling large-format elements on the building site, which can be rapidly put together and dismantled again and the elements produced therewith are used to construct a wide variety of flats and houses by a modular construction system. Units of this type are also intended to produce relatively large series of prefabricated parts on relatively small building sites, which save on road transport costs and on travelling great distances, and simplify, and thus render more cost-effective, carcass-construction and finishing work. The attached drawing shows, in plan view and in section, a building site, for example for four terraced houses, on which this unit has been set up. The elements necessary for the construction work are produced in just five heatable concrete moulds, one each for the foundations, the ceilings, the walls, the roofs, and the supports, which moulds are set up on that strip of land which cannot be built upon between the road and the front of the house and which can be supplied with fresh concrete and equipment by transport vehicles. A framework is placed upon each concrete mould, which framework serves simultaneously as a protective roof for concreting and as a bearing for the reinforcing mats and fixtures, and by means of which the hardened elements are raised out of the mould, tipped, turned, and moved into the desired position of the building by means of a computer-controlled mobile crane without an intermediate bearing.
