PURPOSE:To reduce air resistance and to improve appearance, by a method wherein, in a wheel cover for vehicle having spoke-line appearance, plural projection lines made of clear fluorescent resin are secured radially from a center to the inner surface of a cover body made of clear resin. CONSTITUTION:A wheel cover body 11 is formed in a gently-sloped conical disc by the use of clear resin such as polycarbonate, and a gently-sloped conical seethrough part 11b, extended in the direction of an outer periphery from a central recess part 11a, is formed. Plural projection lines 11d and 11e made of clear fluorescent resin, extended radially from center, are formed on the inner surface of the see-through part 11b so that they cross each other. This constitution enables streaks of luminous rays, tinged with fluorescence, to be produced through reflection of the rays by the projection lines 11d and 11e and seen in a spokelike manner through the see-through part 11b, resulting in improvement of appearance. Further, this enables formation of a flush surface, resulting in a decrease in air resistance. |
