The device comprises a lower body (1) for fixing to a control assembly (3) and an upper body (6) for connection, by means of a cardan element, to a roller blind. Interposed between said bodies (1, 6) is a yielding friction means (8) for the transmission of a moment of torsion of adjustable intensity. The device also makes it possible to vary the intensity of the moment to be transmitted without having to remove to this end the device from the mechanism which serves for the control of a roller blind. <IMAGE>
