摘要 FIELD: methods and plants for production of superhard materials, for instance, diamonds by synthesis. SUBSTANCE: the offered method includes loading of mixture into high-pressure apparatus, ignition of fuel, building up of pressure of gas on wedge mechanism and maintenance of mixture compression to obtain material by self-braking effect between wedge mechanism and load-bearing member in which fuel is ignited and pressure exerted on the entire end face of wedge mechanism is built up. Compression value of mixture is selected from the formula given in the invention description. The plant for embodiment of the offered method consists of body made in form of frame with high-pressure apparatus installed in it and containing mixture. Wedge mechanism contacts high- pressure mechanism through load-bearing member and is moved by its drive. Mechanism for reversing the wedge mechanism is made in form of hydraulic cylinder. Independent gas generator is made in form of cylinder with movable body. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 7 cl, 2 dwg
