摘要 The packages (P) arriving in the centre of a conveyor belt (2), in a row one behind another, are intended to be divided up by the device (V) into two parallel rows (A, B). Provided for this purpose are two deflecting discs (13, 15), mounted such that they rotate, which are offset with respect to each other on their drive shafts (11, 14) by half a rotation and are driven via a toothed belt by a common drive. A package (P) entering into the region of effect of the device interrupts the light beam of an electrical light barrier (17), as a result of which the drive of the deflecting discs (13, 15) is switched on via an electromagnetic coupling. The rotary movement is switched off in each case after an exact half rotation (180 DEG ) via a concomitantly rotating disc cam (20), the cam notches (20a, 20b) of which lie in the region of action of a proximity switch (19) which thus disconnects the coupling after each half rotation of the deflecting discs. By virtue of its low inertia the device operates at a high rate (100 and more packages per minute). The moved parts are virtually wear-free. A further advantage of the device lies in its uncomplicated construction and accordingly low production and maintenance costs. <IMAGE>
