The sole or insert (1) has incorporated in it at least one duct (5) provided with an external-air intake (7) situated in a position which is higher in relation to the sole (1) itself. In the upper part of the sole or of the insert, apertures (9) are made, which communicate with said ducts (5) for the outlet of the air contained in them. As a result of walking, the air is drawn in, starting from said intakes (7) which are situated in the upper part of the heel (6), and admitted into said ducts (5) so as to aerate the sole of the foot as a result of walking. <IMAGE>
