PURPOSE:To improve display quality by providing a transparent dielectric compsn. film consisting of an epoxy resin, polyamide resin or carboxyl compd. and org. transition metallic compd. on the surface inclusive of electrodes on a substrate and making the common use thereof as an oriented film simultaneously with a reflectivity adjusting film. CONSTITUTION:The epoxy resin, polyamide resin or carboxyl compd. and org. transition metallic compd. are coated in the form of solution in a suitable org. solvent on the surface inclusive of the electrodes on the substrate and are dried. The coating is subjected to a heating treatment by which the transparent dielectric compsn. film is formed. The optical thickness of said film is set at the value larger than the optical thickness of the conductive film forming the electrodes on the substrate in the case of forming such transparent dielectric compsn. film. The optical thickness in this case refers to the value (dXn) obtd. by multiplying the film thickness (d) by the refractive index (n) thereof. The ratio (d1Xn1/d2Xn2) between the optical thickness (d1Xn1) of thetransparent dielectric compsn. film and the optical thickness (d2Xn2) of the conductive film forming the electrodes is set in a >=1, more preferably about 1.2-1.6 range. The refractive index (n1) of the transparent dielectric compsn. film is made adjustable by changing the compsn. thereof, for example, by changing the kind and compounding ratio of the org. transition metallic compd. |
